Formed in Bloomington, IL. in early 2005, The Bygones had their first official gig on Labor Day of that year. The original line-up included Kenny Graham, Clint Thomson(Lead and background vocals and lead guitar), Shawn White and Jeff Burton(Bass and background vocals). Jeff, being in the National Guard had to leave the band in July of 2006 and was replaced by Tom Haas who was the logical choice since he had filled in for Jeff on a few occasions. Clint then decided to leave the band in early 2008 and after many auditions, Terry Davito was chosen as his replacement.
By this time Kenny had started playing keyboards in the band and the addition of Terry and his superb keyboard skills and Shawn adding his vocals to the mix really opened up a whole new slew of songs they could do. With all of the members singing and harmonizing, they are able to pull off many songs that you wouldn't think a 4 piece band could perform.
Early in 2009 the band decided to put together an acoustic show in order to get into smaller venues with a lighter sound. They came up with a whole new setlist for this version of their show and immediately received a favorable response and perform about half of their shows now in this acoustic format.
